Starting A Blog
So I have a question. Have you ever thought about starting a blog? What about making money online, or staying home with your kids? Maybe you’re tired of the drive time to and from work and the crazy people on the road during rush hour traffic. I have been thinking about all these and more. There is a solution and I think I have found it! Since starting my own blog I have found a way to not focus on all the negative things that make me more than a little stressed.
I think trying to start a work from home business has been the best decision I have ever made. It didn’t turn out exactly how I planned but that’s ok. Blogging has allowed me to find the creative me that has been bogged down by my day job and feeling that not a whole lot matters anymore. I have been finding pieces of me that I never knew existed. It has created a hope inside me that I’m not stuck in debt and that there is a way out.
I have been meeting new people and not feeling so lonely. Most of us know that we are not in our situations by ourselves and we know that we are not alone, but the trouble is that we don’t go out of our way to talk about it. Why? I know for my own situation I try not to talk about it too much because I’m embarrassed. Why? I know I did it to myself is one reason and I think another is that I want people to think good of me.
Here is the thing though. How many people can we help by sharing our story? Maybe that’s not your thing. Well, you are people too and you can help yourself too. Sometimes people want to not feel alone and in their mess all alone. Misery loves company is a saying I have heard countless times. I think that is because sometimes being miserable together takes away the sting of loneliness.
Starting a blog can do that for you or someone else. There are so many topics. Are you good at home do it your self-projects ( also known as DIY), or maybe you have a knack for working with kids and a list of ways to do it? If you can think of it then you can start a blog about it.
Maybe something on this list will give you some ideas:
- DIY projects
- Mom Life
- Health and Fitness
There really are so many subjects. I do mine on Habits and I have needed a lot of help. Are you ready to jump on board yet? No? Are you sure? It’s really fun and while it can be challenging, it is so worth it. If you’re ready to give it a go then I know the perfect person to help you get started. Her name is Abby and she has a lot of free email courses to help you along your way as well as a cull course for those of us that need help starting. If you don’t know what to do then you can get all of her materials here.
Also, I use this web hosting service. They have great customer support and a lot of training that you can take advantage of if this is all new to you. I’m new and they have been so helpful in helping me get a good start.
