Weight loss Focus
How can I be real about weight loss focus? Weight management effects and controls a large majority of the population today. Many of us are searching for the next best thing to help us in this area. When the reality is that our weight loss or gain is based on our own bodily needs. There is no quick fix and many times it has to do with more than what is put out there.
They tell us to eat less and exercise more. Or eat fewer carbs or some Mediterranean diet. When I say they, I am talking about the experts. I am studying in this area as well. Taking the classes and reading the books. I will have a little better understanding though. Why? Because I also struggle with my weight.
My new goal is focusing on the size of my body instead of what that lying scale is telling me. I am tired of not fitting my clothes. Yes, yes, yes, I know that how heavy I am, plays a part in it too. But from what I’m learning, the more muscle I have will be the more excess I can lose. And let me tell you, I have a lot of excesses.
So I had my mom come over and help me measure individual body parts and I returned to the gym. So July 10th was my first day back after a two-week long inability to get there. Then I quit my job like I said I would and lost the first measurements I took. So I need to re-measure myself and record those here. Then I will have an accurate log to keep and share. Today is not fix the charts day though. When I do that, I will let you know.
Healthy and Happy
I have so much weight loss focus that my goals seem far away. And so many new things coming into my life that I got a little distracted. So my goal for this page and area is to focus on weight loss and some of those physical habits that either keep us healthy and happy or put us into despair
I hope you will come with me as I work through these and that you can find something in my struggles that will help you in your everyday life. We know the experts tell us that our weight loss focus should be on our eating habits. I believe them in this area. What we eat should fuel our bodies for our everyday activities. Another area to believe them is in exercise. We need it but for more than just weight loss or the focus associated with it.
There are other factors to do with weight loss too. Like stress and hormones. There really are so very many things to do with weight loss. It’s not just what we eat and how much we move. Those play a very large part in it too, but it is not the only part of it. Nowadays a huge role is in stress and depression. Are you on or have you been on medication? Well there you go, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Like I said there are a lot of things playing a role in our lives that affect our weight control. The overall goal is to be more healthy. Weight management will ultimately affect many other areas of our lives. Those are for another day.
Weight Loss ???
I feel so sad right now. I just went over to one of my affiliate sites I love and thought I would type in weight loss to find something helpful for someone like me. Do You Know What I Found? A bunch of pills. Now I know that some people have loads of confidence in pills. I even had a couple I tried! But my faith in them is limited. Why do you think that is? Because I think that any weight loss that will be permanent has to take some work. It doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t happen without some kind of work!
So below I have included some long-term beneficial exercise equipment and/or food books to help. I don’t know hardly anything but what I know or believe I am trying to share with you. Please, any dietary or exercise stuff you try check with your personal physician first. I didn’t but I feel it is necessary to advise you to do so. Only you know your own body and are responsible for any and all results. Physicians help us know the steps we should take if we are severely overweight. For example I love my Zumba class but my body can only do about 20 to 30 minutes of continuous exercise without injury right now. I have practice listening to my body! I hope you do too.
That’s a few for now. Either way, I hope it is something you are going to enjoy. Let’s face it. If we don’t like it, there is a good chance that when it gets tough, we are not gonna keep at it. Good luck and let me know how you’re doing.
